Taking a trip away was a good idea. I would have to thank Dr. Santos for that. Although I had started visiting Hope Town for different reasons, this little getaway was doing us some good. I just prayed the end of this trip would be just as good as the beginning.

Everything inside of me screamed for me to tell Brogan about the meeting I had the next morning, but I couldn’t. Not yet. I didn’t want to get her hopes up. I needed to meet Zachary by myself the first time. I needed to gain his trust.

No matter how much time Brogan and I spent together just the two of us, or even how much we played in the bedroom, I couldn’t help but still feel that guilt Tina bestowed on me. She was no longer alive, but I could feel her scratching inside my head, trying to find a way out and, only when I closed my eyes, did she finally make an appearance.

It was sick and twisted the way she still abused me, even after death. Dr. Santos said it would take time. Blah blah blah. But I wasn’t a patient man. I wanted to be ‘fixed’ right away.

Ridding myself of those heavy thoughts, I took a sip of water, watching Brogan over the rim of the glass.

Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes glowing with lust and desire. But the submissive in her refused to ask for what she needed because she knew that I would give her that release she craved when the timing was right.

“Coby,” Brogan’s soft voice slid over my skin.

“Yeah, little one?”

She chewed her bottom lip, playing with the napkin in her lap. “I don’t want a long engagement.”

My heart stuttered. This woman knew how to distract me and get me out of my head, and I loved her even more for it. “Neither do I.”

We had been to several weddings already with our friends getting paired off one by one. My brothers and I were the same. We were impatient and didn’t want to wait. We wanted to make it official so we could start building the rest of our lives with the women we loved.

“So after this weekend, can we start planning? It doesn’t have to be a big wedding. I’m not Max. I don’t need all that girly shit.” Brogan laughed. Her MC sister, Maxine Stanton, wanted a princess wedding, while Brogan would get married in her boots if her sisters allowed her. Although, if she wore boots, her hot as hell leather shorts, and a tank top on our wedding day, I wouldn’t mind in the least.

My dick grew at the thought.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Brogan asked, her eyes darkening.

“I’m just imagining you in that sexy little outfit you like to tease me with on a daily basis.” I kissed the corner of her mouth. “You know the one. Black leather shorts. Tank top. And those hot as fuck boots.” I groaned, sliding my mouth down the length of her jaw.
